Papa's MIG

Papa Walt was a pilot in the Air Force and later a missionary. Brian and his parents lived in the Amazon in Brazil and Walt flew in supply's. They were later also missionaries in Zimbabwe. Because of Papa Walts love for airplanes, he acquired a Mig Fighter, which was in pieces and he was going to work on it and refurbish it. Due to lack of time and just not getting to work on it, he donated it to the March Air Reserve Museum in return for them fixing it up. Last Friday, we took a trip and braved the heat to go see Papa's MIG.

Maybe we have a future pilot here, just like Papa.

I love how in each of their pictures, each kiddo finds something fascinating in the steering wheel buttons.
